1970 was the year our dear dad John stepped in to our bricks & mortar store in Salisbury when he was just 21 years old. The shop, Mylor & Mawes, has been in our family for over 50 years. We wanted to honour the shop and his memory, but bring our own fresh take on our online business and our concession within the store. Timeless furniture, design led style. So there nineteen/seventy was born.

Between us we have over 40 years in the furniture & interiors industry, so bringing you beautiful things that will make your house a home is paramount to us.
